Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”) carefully before using the AppleOne ELC web portal/mobile app (“the Portal/App”), operated by AppleOne Early Learning Centre (“the School,” “we,” “us,” “our”). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms.
1. Who Can Use the Portal /App
The Portal / App is intended only for:
- Parents and legal guardians of students currently or formerly enrolled at the School, and
- Staff members employed by the School,
each accessing it through an account issued or authorized by the School. The App is not open to the general public and is not directed at or intended for use by children.
Your access to the App may be suspended or ended if your child is no longer enrolled at the School, if your employment with the School ends, or if the School determines your use violates these Terms.
2. Your Account
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity that happens under your account.
- You agree to provide accurate information and to notify the School promptly () if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
- If you enable fingerprint/face unlock, that is a device-level convenience only — see our Privacy Policy for details.
3. Fee Payments
- The Portal / App lets parents/guardians pay school fees through Zoho Payments, a third-party payment processor. We do not collect or store your card, UPI, or bank details — see our Privacy Policy for details.
- A payment made through the Portal / App is a payment of the fee amount shown at the time of payment, for the invoice it is applied to. It is your responsibility to confirm the invoice details (student, fee type, amount, due date) before paying.
- Refunds and disputes: if you believe a payment was made in error, charged twice, or did not update correctly in the Portal / App, contact the school office directly at as soon as possible. Refunds, where applicable, are handled by the school in line with its normal fee policy and are not processed automatically through the App.
The School is not responsible for delays or failures caused by your bank, UPI provider, or Zoho Payments’ own systems, though we will assist in resolving any such issue you report to us.
4. Communications and Content You Share
- Chat: the parent-teacher chat feature is provided for school-related communication between a parent/guardian and their child’s assigned teachers, or between staff. Please keep communication respectful and relevant to your child’s education and wellbeing.
- Incident reports: an incident report shared with you about your child is intended for you only. Please do not attempt to screenshot, record, or redistribute this content outside the purpose it was shared for — it may involve another person’s privacy (for example, other children visible in a classroom photo).
- Support tickets and weekly updates: content you submit through the App (a support query, a reply in chat) should be accurate and relate to genuine school matters.
- You agree not to use the App to submit false, abusive, or harassing content, or to attempt to access another family’s or staff member’s information.
5. School Content and Intellectual Property
The Portal / App, its design, the AppleOne ELC name and logo, and all content the School posts through it (notices, homework, weekly updates, event details, etc.) belong to the School or its licensors. You may use this content for your own personal reference relating to your child’s education; you may not redistribute, publish, or use it for any commercial purpose without our written permission.
6. Availability and Changes
- We aim to keep the Portal / App available and working correctly, but do not guarantee uninterrupted access — school server maintenance, technical issues, or third-party service outages (Hosting, Zoho, MSG91, Firebase) may occasionally affect availability. During planned maintenance, the App will show a notice and may temporarily block new payments until it is resolved.
- We may update the Portal / App, these Terms, or our Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the Portal / App after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
7. Limitation of Liability
The Portal / App is provided to support communication between the School and families — it is a convenience tool, not a substitute for the School’s official records or direct communication with school staff for urgent matters. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the School is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the Portal / App, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law (for example, in cases of our own negligence causing harm).
Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under applicable consumer protection or data protection law.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the App will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts having authority over the School’s registered location.
